Obi GEO's free AI visibility check tells you whether AI assistants can reach, read and quote your website. It runs inside Claude or ChatGPT: create a free account, connect your AI app, and ask it to inspect your site. You get 3 checks a day, up to 6 pages each.
What the check looks at
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| AI crawler rules in robots.txt | AI companies use separate crawlers for search, for pages a user asks about, and for training. The check reads your rules for each one. |
| Firewall and bot protection | Some firewalls show AI crawlers a challenge page instead of your content. The check tries a request the way a crawler would. |
| HTTPS | Pages that don’t load securely are skipped or trusted less. |
| Text without JavaScript | Many AI crawlers don’t run JavaScript. If your words only appear after scripts run, they see an empty page. |
| Structured data | Organization, service and FAQ markup helps machines connect your facts. It must match what visitors see. |
| llms.txt | A short Markdown guide to your site for AI tools. Optional, and cheap to add. |
| Knowledge feed | Whether your site publishes a brand facts file that tools can read. |
| Sitemap | Helps crawlers find every page you want found. |
| Speed | Slow pages get fewer crawls and lose visitors. |
| Site health | Broken links, missing titles and similar problems on the pages checked. |
| Clarity | Six rules for pages AI can quote: one topic, a clear headline, the answer near the top, connected pages, speed and clean facts. Thin pages are flagged, not scored. |
How to run it
- Create a free account. Sign in on your account page; we email you a 6-digit code.
- Connect your AI app. Use the address
https://geo.obijuan.dev/mcp. Step-by-step guides. - Ask for the check. Copy this into a new chat:
Inspect https://yoursite.com and tell me what stops AI assistants from reading or recommending it. Start with the biggest problem.
It works on any public website
The check reads public pages, whatever they’re built with: WordPress, Kajabi, Squarespace, Wix, Showit or a custom site. It never visits private network addresses, it respects robots.txt for its own crawler, and it runs one inspection at a time per account.
What it doesn’t do
It doesn’t log in, fill in forms or change anything on the site. It also can’t tell you what ChatGPT will say about you tomorrow; nobody can. To see how we track AI answers for ourselves, look at our own numbers.
If your site runs on WordPress, the plugin goes further: it checks up to 500 pages every week, keeps your facts consistent and lets your AI draft fixes for you to approve.
Run your first check
It takes about two minutes to create an account and connect your AI app.
